Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups yellow onion organic
  • 1.5 cups rice vinegar organic
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar organic
  • 2 tbsp pepper corns
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions
*Cooking times may vary.
  1. Slice the 1.5 cups of yellow onion as desired for pickling. Then, stuff the onion slices into a mason jar and keep a lid close by.
  2. Add the 1.5 cups of rice vinegar, 1/4 cup of agave nectar, 1/4 tsp of sea salt, 2 tbsp of pepper corns, and 1/4 cup of water into a cooking pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 2 minutes. Then, pour the mixture directly into the mason jar and cap immediately. Add extra water if needed to submerge the onions completely.
  3. Allow to cool, then store in the refrigerator and marinate for 3 hours. Enjoy! *Keeps up to a month or less refrigerated.
