Place the 1/2 cup of dry quinoa into a cooking pot with 1/2 cup of water and 1 tbsp of olive oil. Bring to a boil, then simmer with a lid for about 7 minutes or until the quinoa is tender.
Place the 2 cups of broccoli into a separate cooking pot with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes or until the broccoli is tender.
Chop the broccoli into small edible sizes. Add it to the quinoa cooking pot along with the 2 tbsp of feta cheese, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, 1 tsp of garlic powder, and 1/8 tsp of sea salt. Mix all contents together until homogeneous.
